The earthquakes resulted in hundreds of deaths and countless injuries, and forced hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTomizawa Tea Garden was also impacted as their old tea shop was unrepairably destroyed by the earthquake.
