The studio, Oiso Kōbō, is based in the Shonan-Oiso area of Kanagawa Prefecture. Located near the coastline of Oiso beach, he produces blue colored potteries and his representative constellation series of porcelain cups, in which the inside is covered with turquoise blue glaze. In December 2010, submitted his works to “HAND MADE IN JAPAN AWARD” and was exhibited at a gallery in Düsseldorf, Germany, where his work won the second prize.
