Urushi Tea Canister Aka-Tsubaki

The Urushi Tea Canister combines the advanced metalworking craftsmanship of Tsubame, Niigata, with the traditional lacquerware techniques of Echizen.

Each stainless steel canister is carefully hand-coated with Urushi lacquer and decorated by skilled artisans. The Aka-Tsubaki (Red Camellia) design features elegant red camellia blossoms, creating a vivid contrast against the Urushi lacquer surface.

Designed for storing tea leaves, this canister can also be used for coffee beans, dried foods, and other items. Its combination of durable metal, traditional Urushi lacquer, and delicate decorative details makes it both a practical storage vessel and a beautiful piece of Japanese craftsmanship.

A refined piece that brings together traditional craftsmanship, the beauty of Urushi, and the elegance of Japanese decorative art.
